Play Area Projects & Maintenance
Project Overview
Across several Parish councils, housing associations and nurseries we have delivered various play park installations, maintenance and safety enhancements.
Both Nythe and Liden have benefitted from the addition of modern outdoor gym equipment to promote community health and wellbeing completed with safety surfacing and instructional signage.
In Chiseldon Parish we have installed monkey bars and stepping stones providing progressive physical challenges for children.
A new Witches hat roundabout was installed in South Marston due to a previous contractor’s ill-fitting and furthermore going into liquidation.
The equipment was then properly reinstalled by us in another area securely anchored with adequate fall zones.
We have undertaken surface upgrades at several locations to improve safety, drainage and accessibility.
- Rubber matting in high-wear areas under swings and slides.
- Natural bark surfacing for environmental harmony.
- Artificial grass for low maintenance requirements.
- Rubber crumb wet pour surfaces, impact absorbing for safer play.
A significant ongoing service includes reactive and preventative maintenance across Parish managed play parks from routine inspections identifying wear and tear issues to graffiti removal, damaged equipment we provide a pro- active service with detailed record keeping and reporting.
Continued investment in play and fitness infrastructure together with responsible maintenance, hazard management and thoughtful new installations make areas safe, inclusive and enjoyable spaces .
It was lucky we had the full attention from Lee Wells from ABL Services who had his gang out on the rec installing additions in Phase 2 of the Rec Development Plan. He quickly arranged The Witches Hat removal off site and carefully dug down to the foundations to establish the cause.
